Payment Terms:
A quote is valid for 48 hours. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is payable to confirm a reservation and an official proof of payment is to be sent to our office asap after payment has been made so that we can confirm the reservation. Payment of the balance must be made in full before or on arrival (cash or card payments are accepted).
PLEASE NOTE THAT IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO MAKE A TELEPHONIC RESERVATION, ENQUIRY OR CONFIRMATION. ONLY EMAILED CORRESPONDENCE IS ACCEPTABLE AND ONLY A VALID QUOTATION WITH A 50% PAYMENT IS REGARDED AS A CONFIRMED BOOKING.
Refundable breakage fee:
A refundable breakage fee of 4,000MTL (Meticais) or R1000 must be paid in cash on arrival. This deposit will be refunded as soon as we have thoroughly checked the premises on your departure or, if departure is before our offices open, the breakage deposit will be refunded into your bank account within 7 days of departure. Electronic payments will only be made to Mozambican or South African bank accounts.
The house(s) will be thoroughly checked before and after each rental. There is a checklist in each house and we urge you to go through this list and report anything missing or broken within 24 hours of arrival. Unless we are contacted within the first 24 hours, we will assume that everything is in order.
Check-In Times:
Check-in is from 14h00 onwards. Reception closes at 20h00. If you arrive later, your keys & directions will be left with our Gate guard. Please pay at the restaurant up to 22h00 or report to reception asap to settle your bill the next day (open from 7h00).
Overnight accommodation is strictly payable on arrival.
Check-Out Times:
Check out time is by 10h00 on the day of your departure. These times must be strictly adhered to unless prior arrangements have been made. A fee for late departures will be charged.
Safety:
A small safe is supplied in the main bedroom of each house. The owners/management/staff cannot be held responsible for any claim for loss of property – please use the safe provided.
As an additional safety precaution on our Resort, we employ security guards who are on duty 24 hours per day.
General – Accommodation:
A maximum 4 people are permitted to stay in each standard 2 bedroom house.
A maximum of 6 people are permitted to stay in each standard 3 bedroom house;
A maximum of 8 people are permitted to stay in each lux 3 bedroom house.
We must be informed of day visitor’s visiting our guests. Day visitors must report to our security and will be given a disk which has to be returned when they leave – day visitor’s must park their vehicles at Cafe Pescador’s parking area and must be accompanied by the person responsible for the booking. If Visitor’s spend the night, the charge will be to the account of the person who has made the original booking.
• No smoking is allowed in any of our houses – should guests default on this clause, the entire breakage fee will be retained and used to clean and rid the house of any smells.
• No pets are allowed.
• Treat our staff and fellow guests with respect and good manners.
• Please be considerate with regards to noise especially before 7h00 and after 21h00.
• Please do not drive around on the resort if you have been drinking.
• The use of narcotics or any illegal substances is expressly forbidden.
• You may not remove any fauna or flora from the estate.
• Please do not feed the resident monkeys.
We experience many power failures and we do have a generator we use for back-up. It will run for a maximum of 2 hours in the morning, 2 hours during the afternoon and 2 hours at night if the power is going to be off for a long period of time. The generator will not be turned on after 21h00.

We accept no liability in any way for power failures, poor weather, lack or non-existence of any third party service. We will not be held responsible for any injury or loss that may occur.
